In May 2007, I began a course in fractals at the Visual Arts Academy called Working with Ultra Fractal. Fractals have their origins in mathematics. Two founders are Gaston Julia and Benoit Mandelbrot, hence, the fractal structure names.
Included on this web page are examples taken from my lesson exercises with Janet Parke as the Visual Arts Academy Instructor.

My images have been resized for optimum download time.
This Visual Arts Academy Online Course is one of the more involved and interesting courses I have elected to take. It is easy to see that this Ultra Fractal Program can provide hours of entertainment.

In these web pages that are defined by course content, one can view not only techniques but formula parameter layers which give a piece of fractal art it's diversification.
Although, fractals are a fairly new art form, opinion suggests that in time they will offer their own unique perspective into the arts. Fractals have their Galleries with Artists who have published their formula works and who have art exhibits as well as web sites. Many of these fractal formulas and their parameters can be found in the Ultra Fractal Program.
